Hello guys! I’m back and now I will interviewed a person who affect my life and write it into a biography.

So, enjoy….

If you ask me, who is the person that affect your life besides your parents? I will answer my best friends! And if I write all of my best friends biography that is impossible because there are too many of them. So, I will choose the one who give a big influence for me. There were so many reason why I choose her to be interviewed. First, because I’m really grateful for having this girl in my life. I know that it’s hard to find a best friend who really kind and care to us, but luckily I met her and I think she is the right people for me. The second, she is like my sister who always caring and have a big patient. The last, because she is always beside me to support and give some advice if I did something wrong. This is a biography about her and I think she is one of the person who affect my life.

November 08, 1996, in Pasuruan, a girl named Intan Nur Rosidah Ika Afani or can be called Intan was born. She was a student of Business Administration in the Hangtuah University of Surabaya. He lived with her parents and also one of her younger brother. Intan really loves her family because she knows that her family members are the people who will always be there to support her as she reaches for a stars.

            Intan is the girl who always bright, humble and easy-going. She can be friends with anyone quickly because she is very friendly. She is open-minded person and as her best friend, I always be a good listener to her when she shared her story like about her difficulties until her love problems. As well as me, she also be a good listener for me and gave a good advices to my problems. Yes this is what best friends is! haha

            Intan has a oval face and fair skin. She has a beautiful almond-shaped eyes and her eyes color is brown. She has a beautiful long hair and she dyed her hair into brown color. She is known for her smiley face I mean she always smile and very nice to other people. Her height is 160 centimeters and her weight is around 46 kilograms. Her body is ideal for girl and because of that recently she selected to become campus girl and represent her faculty to compete with other girl in her university.

            About her hobby, she liked to play badminton and that maybe because her boyfriend is a national badminton player, because of that she decided to join some badminton match on her campus. Usually I accompany her to watch her boyfriend that have a badminton match. Another campus activity that she has besides badminton is traditional dance, she couldn’t dance and sometimes still awkward to dance but she wanted to learn traditional dance again and again.

            She likes to watch a movie and listen to a music. She had a lot of good songs and movie references. For the movie especially she likes a romance genre. One of the romance movie that always cling in her mind is “The Vow”. That has romantic drama film that told us about the struggle and sacrifice in love. For the songs she choose “True Love” from Pink to be her favorite song. She told me that the meaning and the lyric of this is described her love story.

If we talk about her college life, she found some difficulties after graduate from high school and when she entered the college life. When I asked her why he choose the Hangtuah University to become her place to study Intan told me that because she couldn’t join the state university so when he browse on the internet she found the Hangtuah University and she had a good impression about that university.

At senior high school she was join science department and when she had to join the university, she decided to choose the major that different from her senior high school. Many of her friends might choose like a medical or industrial engineering but she thinks out of the box and choose business administration to become her major. At first, she confessed that it difficult to study because she didn’t learn what is accounting or what is administration before but by the time she get used to learn it (and I think she’s smart, because I had learn it on senior high school for 3 years but I forgot it already haha).

            She wanted to open a business after she graduated from university, she wanted to open a fast food restaurant but not like the others fast food restaurant that sold a chicken, burger and so on. She wanted a fast food restaurant that gave the variation menu and fit with student pockets. The reason was because now she is a student and found it difficult to get a good food with low price. Intan also already talked with her parents and she got support from her parents (and I support her too!!).

            In the college life I think we also found a lot of difficulties as well as Intan. When I asked her what will she do if she didn’t attend college and she answered that she will worked first to get a experience and collect some money. Then she will attended college after that. She wanted to finance her college without her parents helps. Also she wanted to open her business from the money that she had collect and open a job fields for the others. It’s a good idea right? To help others to have a job.

            She told me that in this life we have to always be grateful for what has been given to us from God. Always learn something that new for s to get some experience. Don’t be afraid to try and can’t always wishing to God but try to do it. Just believe in yourself and do not give up for everything. Enjoy your life more so you can always happy.

Fourth Journal

Hello guys! I’m back with my fourth journal and I’m gonna talk about the assignment that we have done that is Narrative story and my preparation before final test. The secong semester has come to end and I get a lot of benefits from this writing class.

For my fourth journal I’ve learned a lot of things. First I’ve learned about how to write a narrative story. That narrative story should be originally by ourselves and we shouldn’t plagiarize story that have been told before. My narrative story is talk about a high school girl who have a dream knight. I find a lot of difficulties to write the narrative text, because I never write a narrative story before and struggles to find the themes and topics. We have to post it on the blog one part per one week so the readers feel curious about the next part of my story. I’ve learned a lot of things like a grammar especially in past tenses, the punctuation and the way we bring the atmosphere of the story. Although I find a lot of difficulties before, finally I can write two thousand and more for my narrative story. Thanks God for that hihihi…

For the final examination, I should be more careful about my grammar, punctuation and vocabularies that I use for my final exam later. For the final exam we also be given by our lecturer to write a biography and submit it on the day when we are doing the final test exam next week.

Dolls and Dream Knight -END-

Justin took Marie away from Junior, they didn’t know that Junior was realized something that actually Justin and friends weren’t human but they were a Marie’s doll that has been transformed into human but they were not official to be human. They were a knights who born to protect their owner like Marie. They were became official human until they decided not to go back to their own world. They were always helped and supported Marie when she felt lonely or when she was being bullied by her friends at school. Therefore, when Justin, Mark, Jay, and Jackson were slept at Marie’s house, they told Marie that there was their house too. Marie just didn’t know that four boys were came from that doll. Junior realized that, because he was the same as Justin and friends. Actually Junior was also a doll or a knights that has been transformed into human, he became official after he was felt in love with the owner of Junior’s doll but when Junior decided to become human she left and ignored Junior.

Until one day, Junior was met Marie again to talk about that things.

Junior said, “Marie, actually I wanted to talk about Justin and friends.”

“What happened to them? “ Marie said.

“I think you should avoided Justin, Mark, Jay and Jackson.” Junior said that and held Marie’s hand.

Marie shocked and said, “What do you mean by that? They were very kind to me. What is the reason you say like that?”

Junior told Marie’s everything about Justin and all of his friends, he also told about his past. Marie shocked and couldn’t said anything. Junior realized that Marie was shocked to hear about that, he hugged Marie but she pushed him and said,

“Why you tell me to avoid Justin, Mark, Jay, and Jackson? They were very kind to me and I can’t leave them!”

“If they can’t leave you alone here, they will become a real human and can’t go back to their own world! Please listen to me, they need to go back, they can’t take care of you forever like this!” said Junior.

“I won’t leave them like what your owner did! They were a gift from my mother and I can’t do that!”

Marie said that and left Junior alone.

            Justin, Mark, Jay and Jackson were at Marie’s house to hold an event. Their purpose were to tell Marie about everything because as soon as possible they had to go back to their own world. When they knew that Marie will be arrived at home, they went to hide and will give a surprise for Marie. At that time, Marie was already at home at called Justin, Mark, Jay and Jackson but they didn’t response Marie. She was scared because she thought that they had gone already. Marie was cried very hard when Justin and friends about to give a surprised to Marie, they were confused and didn’t know what to do. When Marie knew that they were still at there, she hugged them and cried again.

“What happen to you Marie? Why did you cry?” said Mark. Marie didn’t answer and still cried.

            After Marie felt calm and didn’t cried again, she told Justin and friends that she know the fact that they were a knights that has been transformed into human to accompany Marie always. They were shocked and asked Marie where did she knew about this. Marie told them that she knew about this from Junior.

“So, it is true that all of you are my knights and has been transformed into humans to help me? All of you are from this doll? It is right? Please answer me…” said Marie to them.

Jackson said, “Yes, we are your knights from that doll and has been transformed into humans. We always accompany you until now Marie.”

“I’m sorry that we didn’t tell you earlier about this.” Said Jay.

Marie didn’t said anything and just cried. She felt guilty because before she knew about this, she always told them to go away.

Justin said, “Actually we hold this surprise party to tell you about this story and……” 

“and what?” said Marie.

Justin said that they wanted to say goodbye after this because they have to go back to their own world and said thank you to Marie. They asked Marie not felt sad because of this and they were promise to come back if they have a time.

“Don’t sad Marie we are always by your side, not being human but in that dolls. You have to take care of us, okay?” said Jackson.

Marie just noded and Marie said that she need time to be alone.

“Okay Marie, goodbye and don’t cry again my girl.” Said Mark. They said goodbye and left Marie alone.

Marie didn’t realized that actually they were disappeared at that time. Marie cried loudly and called Justin, Mark, Jay and Jackson named but they didn’t answer again.

Marie hugged that four dolls and shouted “Thank you for always be my side, thank you for your time for me and I’m sorry if I ever hurt you boys. I love you and I will be miss you!”

Dolls and Dream Knight ( Chapter 2 )

……. Jackson pushed Marie and accidentally Marie fell down and fell on Junior’s chest, because of that Junior had to be rushed to the hospital.

            After that accident, everyday when Marie went to school she’s always being mocked again by all of girls in her school because of the accident that she had with Junior. Junior was a popular boy in his school and all the girls were loved him so much. So, that was the reason why all of the girls got mad at her. Marie being bullied by her friends at the school yard. They poured water,egg and flour over Marie. Justin, Jay, Mark and Jackson saw that Marie had been bullied by her friends, they went to the school yard to helped Marie directly. Unexpectedly, Marie got mad when they helped her.

She said, “ Why did you help me?! If you helped me like this I will look weak in front of them!”

“Look at you, you look pitiful and you said you didn’t need our help?” ,said Mark.

Marie cried and said, “ I looked like this because the accident with Junior last time! If all of you not try to pushed me when I met Junior, it wasn’t become like this, right?!”

Jackson who pushed Marie when the accident happened said, “ I’m sorry, I’m really sorry about that. I didn’t mean to do that.”

Marie said, “ arghhh, forget it! I can’t say anything now. Let’s go home and I have to clean up my body.”

“Ok Marie, let’s get up!” said Jay. They helped Marie to get up and walked to their home.

            After they arrived at Marie’s house, she thanks to them because they had helped her although Marie got mad at first. They asked Marie to cooked something for them because they were hadn’t eaten yet and Marie agree with that. When Marie cooked something in the kitchen, that four boys played football at the yard and accidentally “PRANGGG” the ball hit Marie’s old camera which is given by her mom before her mom passed away. That camera is the gift from her mom which contains lot of precious moments of photos and videos from her precious childhood with her beloved mother. Marie asked them what happened but they didn’t tell Marie what happened actually. Marie grab something that being hidden behind Jackson. She was very shocked because the camera was broken.

“OH MY GOD BOYS! WHAT DID YOU DO?!!” ,said Marie.

That four boys felt really sorry to Marie. “I’m really sorry Marie, we didn’t mean to do that.” ,said Jackson.

Marie got mad and said, “Go away from here and don’t come back! I don’t want too see your face! ALL OF YOU!”

That four boys gave up and went away from Marie’s house. They will found a way to repair Marie’s camera.

            One day, Marie met Junior at the basketball court. Marie felt sorry and a bit shy in front of Junior but he act like a nice boy in front of Marie besides Junior had a grudge to Marie. Junior pretended to liked Marie but actually not. He knew that Marie liked him a lot. Suddenly Junior confessed his feeling to Marie and asked Marie to be his girlfriend. Marie a bit hesitant to answer Junior’s feeling because it was to sudden for her. Marie couldn’t answered and asked Junior to wait. One day, when Marie went school she met Justin, he gave back Marie’s camera. Marie felt so happy that her camera finally back. She said sorry to Justin, Mark, Jay and Jackson because she got mad before. They came back to Marie’s house and she told that Junior had confess his feeling to her. That four boys were shocked and told Marie not to believe what Junior said. Marie told the boys that Junior was a good boy and he was not like that. That boys couldn’t say anything anymore because they knew that Marie liked Junior so much.

            On the next day, Marie and Junior were sitting on a bench. They were laughing together until Justin called Marie to come to him. When Marie got up from her sit, Junior tried to stop Marie not to come to Justin. Justin got mad at Junior’s behavior and came to him. When Junior tried to ran from Justin suddenly Justin used his power and Junior was freezed. Justin took Marie away from Junior, they didn’t know that Junior was realized something that actually Justin and friends weren’t human but……

Dolls and Dream Knight ( Chapter 1 )

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Marie. She lived in small village. Her parents passed away when she was 15^th years old and she has a part time job which is to finance her life. In her school, she was being mocked by her friends because before her parents passed away her family was a rich family and after her parents passed away she didn’t have anything again. Her house was confiscated by debt-collector and she had to live in a small house near the river. She didn’t have anything besides four dolls which is given by her mom. She loved that dolls very much and she always tells about anything to that dolls. She did that because she thought that, that dolls became her family. Marie is humble and hardworking person. She didn’t get angry eventhough her friends mocked her.

One day, when Marie was asked by her friends to buy some snacks by use Marie’s money, Marie rejected it. Marie’ friends got angry and they pushed Marie until she fell down. Immediately, came four handsome boys that helped Marie to get up. All of Marie’s classmates shocked, they thought where did they come. Not only Marie’s classmates who shocked, but Marie too. While she was thinking who they were, those four boys made Marie’s naughty friends frozen and behaved strangely by using their magic power. When Marie looked at them and tried to find what happened, one of those four boys asked Marie to shut up for a while. After those boys made Marie friends behaved strangely, they told Marie to follow them to the rooftop. At there, they introduced themselves. The one who always wears headphones named Jay. The other one who has blonde hair named Mark. The other boys who has a sixpack body named Jackson. And the last one who has a charismatic face named Justin. When Marie asked them where did they come, they just smile and said that they had known Marie for a long time. Marie confused because of their statement and Marie ignored them.

When Marie went home after did her part time job, she found that Justin and friends were sleeping on her bed. She shocked, how did they get there? When she asked them what were they doing, they said that they were relaxing at their own house. Marie confused because that house has already been occupied by her for a long time. When Jackson looked that Marie was thinking about something, he said “ Don’t you remember us? We always sleep together at the same bed every night!”. After hear that, Marie said “ What do you mean by that? Are you stalking me? If yes I will report you to the police!”. Mark answer “It is okay Marie if you can’t remember us now but maybe later you will remember who us. Please, don’t report us to the police”. Marie felt sorry for them and she decided to let them stayed at her house but the requirement was they had to sleep separate from her room.

One day at her school, there was a boy named Junior. Marie liked him, because he has a baby face and he was very cute. There was any reason why did she liked him, that was because she thought that she has already seen him in her dream. Two days later, there was an event in the school yard. It was very crowded at there. When Marie came to see that event, she met Junior but she too nervous to greet him and unnoticed by Marie, Jackson saw Marie’s strange behavior. Immediately, Jackson pushed Marie and accidentally Marie fell down and fell on Junior’s chest.

Third Journal

Hi guys, long time no see! I’m back for my third journal!

For my third journal I still have to write what I have learned in this writing class and what I have to improved again and again, not only in this writing class but also in another subject class. I still have a lot of mistakes in this writing class. Second semester is a tough semester for me I think. Why? Because in this semester I have to do a lot of assigments from my lecturer, sometimes this assignments are difficult and confusing, but I have to focus always. In this semester we have to split our time well, we should not complain about what we have to do. Sometimes I feel tired with a lot of assigments but through a lot of assigments I can learn a lot from there.

I think that I still have to learned a lot. Yes, a lot! I still lack in confidence to speak in front of class or write something in this writing class. Actually because I’m afraid if I make a lot of mistakes. Fortunately, now I was better than the first I entered this university although I couldn’t understand something sometimes. Something that I think I still have to learn a lot are grammar, punctuation and this day in this writing class I have to write a narrative story and I think that I have to learn about how to make a good story. I really like this writing class idea because we have to write something on a blog, design it, give a comment or feedback to other friends. It’s really fun and it makes us not feel bored.It also make my writing fell interesting and look eye-catching for the readers.

International Culture Festival and Celebration

April, 8^th 2016 is the most awaited day for the student from English Departement of Widya Mandala Catholic University. Why? Because in that day we are going to hold an event that name “International Culture Festival and Celebration” . Yayyy!!! I’m really happy for the first I heard about this event, because this event is the first event that hold in our faculty. The MC's were Gisel from second semester and William from fourth semester. Not only the student from English Departement but also from high school students around Surabaya attended this event. This event are attended by 7 countries. That are France, China, Belarus, Indonesia, Spain, Netherlands, and Germany.

They were came to give an presentation about their country. The first presentation was from China, they talked about the history of The Haka and taught us about how to write calligraphy in China. It’s really fun to know how to write a calligraphy. The second presentation was from France, the presentator taught us about how to speak in France like how to introduce ourself, spelling the language and so on. Then, for the third presentation Belarus came to the stage to give a presentation and they showed us about their country through some videos. Belarus is a beautiful country in the Eastern Europe, I hope that I can go there someday haha. Spain was came to the stage for the forth presentation, Domingo himself gave us some videos about the carnaval and the city of Spain. Not only the presentation, Domingo friends who can dance salsa was taught us about the basic of salsa dance. Its so much fun! The fifth representative was from Indonesia itself, they described about our traditional food, that is pecel! My favourite food! and finally for the sixth and seventh presentation, it’s the turn for Germany and Netherlands. They had an interactive talk with the audiences, there were some games and gifts were distributed.

 Overall, this event were pretty awesome! I like this event because from this event we can know more knowledges about other countries and our own country. I have always wanted to learn about other country languages but it's little bit difficult for me. I hope that we can hold this event every year.
